  • Managed the functionality of a high-traffic flash marketing e-commerce running on Ruby on Rails.
  • Monitored production and staging servers, including their supporting resources.

  • Updated e-commerce and article sections of the multilingual version of the Japan-Guide.com Web site, running on a custom Ruby on Rails application.

Volunteering

Since 1996, I volunteered in the creation and the maintenance of the Web site for many non-profit organisations, including the Marie-Esther High School, the Government of New Brunswick, the Ottawa Japanese Language School, the Ottawa Japanese-Canadian Association, and the Canadian Tulip Festival’s Japan Pavilion.

In December 2007, I wrote a Web application, OCInfo, allowing bus riders in Ottawa to obtain timetables on their mobiles. It was talked about in the local media and replaced by an official application in 2008.
