Two weeks ago, I went for the second time this year in New Brunswick. Even if you’re just a passenger, being in a car for more than 10 hours is a pain. It’s a pain for everyone.
Previously, I cancelled my trip to Moncton. However, an old friend of mine from college, who now works for a delivery company and comes near my parents’ place daily, gave me a ride to Bathurst. There, I slept at my uncle’s place and took a bus the following day for Moncton. It was something to see Moncton again after a few years. There’s a Japanese woman there I know who I haven’t seen since I moved in Ottawa. Her family now has four kids! How can she manage. Even her husband has no clue. After I had dinner with them, I spent the night at bar with my friend of mine who just moved to Moncton for his studies. He was my ride for the following day, to come back in the peninsula. I stayed over at my cousin’s place, like he and his girlfriend both suggested me to do before.
On Friday, when my friend and I went back home, we ate at Mitchan Sushi, again! Since the first time the guy who gave me a ride, the other Rémi, and his girlfriend went there, they can’t get enough of that place. A fifth person who joined us, one of the other Rémi’s colleagues, could eat sushi three times a day, if not more.
Saturday was my friend NoMez’s wedding. He hired me as his photographer. I’m glad he paid me, because all the time off I took for the unpaid vacation was starting to make a gapping hole in my wallet. We all had a wonderful time, and I had a chance to meet some of NoMez’s friends. I even met a guy who I heard hated me for making Plourde-o-matic who fortunately became really friendly with me. We just laughed about the whole thing. We discovered we simply agreed on everything. Today, my friend and his wife are happy to see all the 640 pictures and videos I took during the wedding and the reception. (I took more than a thousand pictures during my stay in New Brunswick while makes around 4.3GB of data.)
During my week in New Brunswick, I’ve been told a lot about the Envoye Fort videos I made recently. It’s funny to see everyone acting like monkeys when dancing like my move in the videos! I’m not sure why people find it really funny, but since I’m getting my fifteen minutes of fame out of it, I might as well just go with it. We took a lot of footage for “Envoye Fort 3” at many different times and locations: wedding’s reception, all the small places on the islands, and on my way back to Ottawa with one of NoMez’s friends.
Next week, I’ll go to Edmonton with my father to go see my mother who recently moved in Alberta for a new job and my sister, who I haven’t seen since two years!
