Japanese Language Proficiency Test

After years of studying and practicing Japanese, I’m finally going to write my first JLPT exam this Sunday. There are four levels to the JLPT, and you have to work you way up to level one. I’m trying level 4 this year. However, when I bought a book with the exam of last year, I quickly realised that I could do level 3 just fine. Though, it is too late to change my registration.

The only thing I hate is that I need to go in Toronto for that. The cost of going and staying in Toronto is a few times the exam’s cost. We have the Japanese embassy here, in Ottawa. Why not have the test here too? Ottawa U or Algonquin College would be good places!

I’ll go at the OJLS tomorrow morning and leave in the afternoon. I’ll be back on Monday.
